IR Malaysia's Eid Gift Programme 2007

IR Malaysia started its Eid Gift Programme 2007 distribution with Johor on 6 October 2007, Perak on 7 October 2007 and Kedah 8 October 2007 in collaboration with Maybank and Unilever. A total of more than 2,000 packages have been distributed to the needy with 200 in Pasir Gudang, Johor, 1,200 in Perak and 600 in Baling, Kedah.

Each beneficiaries received food package ( fully sponsored by Maybank) and hygienic package ( fully sponsored by Unilever) each.

Food package contained

• 10 kg of rice
• 1 kg of glutinous rice
  
• 1 bottle of 1 litre cooking oil
• 1 pack x 2 kg sugar
• 250 g of meat flossed (beef/ chicken)
• 400 g groundnuts
  
• 1 pack of cookies
• 2 packs of sweets

Hygienic package contained

• 1 bag x 3 litre of washing soap - Breeze
  
• Body shampoo - Dove
  
• Shampoos - Sunsilk & Dove
  
• Face cream - Fair and Lovely & Ponds
  
• Deodorant - Rexona
  
• Peanut butter - Lady's Choice
  
• Chicken/ Bilis cube - Knorr
• 200g tea - Lipton
